Literally conceived in HELL!!!
On a chance encounter at the Tiki Inferno event in Hell, MI long-time friends (and musicians) Thea Munster and Jimmy Psycho layed the groundwork for THE INFERNAL ORDER OF THE BLACK FLAME- a two-person music duo that would explore the darker, spookier, yet playful side of lounge and exotica music… or as they have called it :“Gothxotica”
Within a few short months they recorded and released their first music effort, the single “I Put A Spell on You”, a dark, swanky, and mesmerizing instrumental version Screamin’ Jay Hawkins’ most popular song.
A year after the intial meeting, Thea and Jimmy debuted THE INFERNAL ORDER on the very grounds of Hell, followed by appearances at Exotikon (Los Angeles) and Tiki Oasis, the world's largest tiki-themed event. As a result, show offers have been coming in for those seeking lounge music from the darker side…2024 is shaping up to be a rather busy year as the devilish duo plan to summon even more demonically dark and sinful sounds from the underworld! Keep a wary evil eye out as they conjure future singles into this reality and work long into the dead of night to manifest a full-length release in 2024, which is currently coming in at thirteen deadly tracks consisting of standards, goth classics, and their very own sinister original songs!
THEA MUNSTER, a.k.a. "Thea Triffid", is a musician, co-ordinator of odd occurrences, and performer. Thea’s adeptness with the theremin has garnered her much attention. She has performed at the Hendrick’s Gin hot air balloon lounge, Tiki Oasis and her skills have been featured in Rue Morgue Magazine and on Rue Morgue TV. She has performed with various dance troups and has also added theremin and keyboard tracks to many albums created by a variety of artists, including Lance Whalen, The Great Octopus, Blood Lovely, Pretty Frankenstein and Cadabra SV. Thea is currently recording and performing with her horror band, Night Chill.
JIMMY PSYCHO is the main mind behind the long-running “Horror Rawkillbilly” outfit PSYCHO CHARGER and the wildly popular “spooky sci-fi punk rock lounge band” THE JIMMY PSYCHO EXPERIMENT...never a dull moment to be had as these music acts became known for equal parts musicanship and showmanship. Not one to sit still for too long, Jimmy has been playing a consistent string of live performances that have lead him from coast to coast and in five different countries. As he is always writing, recording, and performing music that seamlessly crosses genres with his music has found it's way into films, television programs, and commercials.
